This will be a short blog and nothing to do with Hawaii. Rustin and I found out yesterday that we have lost another dear friend in this tragic war. We are truly saddened and devastated. Dan Whitten was an amazing spirit with a contagious laugh and personality. We have enjoyed and created many lasting memories with him and his wife Starr. My heart breaks for Starr in her time of despair and I ask anyone who reads this, whether you know her or not, to pray for her to find peace and understanding in this time and the days and months to come. Dan... thank you for your sacrifice and you will be missed. Rest in peace. We love you.
